SORROW TUNE
---------------------
Bala Mohammed was Senator for Bauchi South, in Bauchi State. He was also appointed Minister of FCT under President Goodluck Jonathan. Stories about his acclaimed bribery and corruption as FCT helmsman abound. Perhaps that was when he learnt loot as trade. He is now governor of Bauchi state. He is on the news again. Reason: He awarded 3.6 billion contract to his personal company.
This is happening at a time when the most wretched state in Nigeria has been looted dry by its leviathan, the Orji's. These ogres and monsters in Abia state are alleged to have embezzled over 551 billion Naira, a detasteful venture that has left the streets of Aba, its commercial hub in putrid Miasmic ruins.
Fast forward to Akwa Ibom. Udom Emmanuel is the governor of the land of promise. In fact he has promised numerous developments including electricity. Recently, the 79 villages in Itu Local Government Area of the state signed a joint letter addressed to Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission and copied the State Governor, Mr. Emmanuel. Reason: Epileptic electric power supply. Few weeks ago, the governor buried his father in a customized grave with 24 hours power supply for the deceased. The Udoms forgot quickly that the light needful for their deceased was not of the earth but the light of Christ. A friend who attended the funeral related to me how luxury was taken to the grave, in fact my friend felt like dying as death became attractive. Perhaps he saw the jaw-dropping electrified sepulchre where the remains of Mr. Nkanang, Udom's father were entombed.
Far from asking about their political parties, Nigerian politicians are not just the problem but the enemies of Nigeria. Without batting an eyelid, these men paint an ugly picture of Nigeria and make us a laughing stock before other nations. We will not just hand them over to God, time is ticking, in fact it is nigh, their days of yore is here, when the masses will not just ask for a share of their bread, but then commandeer it.
